Advanced Resuscitation (Basic Oxygen Administration) Training
2 hour course in Basic Oxygen Administration 22100VIC.

Course Description
This course is designed to provide First Aiders the skill to be able to administer oxygen therapy and/or oxygen resuscitation to a casualty until the arrival of medical assistance.
Learning Objectives
- Assessing the need for oxygen administration
- Understanding equipment and delivery devices.
- Safety precautions, cleaning and disinfection of equipment
- Equipment familiarisation - assembly and disassembly
- Correct method of administration of oxygen
- Insertion of an oropharyngeal airway
Course Prerequisites
Participants must be able to demonstrate current competence in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Students must be at least 14 years of age at the time of attendance.
Course Details
The face to face training is 2 hours and covers both theory and practical aspects of Advanced Resuscitation Training.
Students are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the course commencement or will be refused entry.
